Currently there are two volunteer groups “ABS – Amici Biblioteca Santarcangelo” and “Reciproci Racconti” that carry out activities aimed at adults or children respectively. All active volunteers are covered by insurance and participate in the Project Ci.Vi.Vo. Friends library Santarcangelo. In addition, it is possible to collaborate with the cultural institutions of the city (Baldini Library, MET, MUSAS) by joining the National or Regional Civil Service, activating Internships, or participating in calls.
Friends Biblioteca Santarcangelo
The group Amici Biblioteca Santarcangelo (ABS) was born in 2013, coinciding with the opening of the new library. The volunteers of the group make their time available for special openings, assist operators in arranging books and DVDs, organize self-funding events such as Read Book Markets, and organize cultural initiatives such as free courses or workshops, aimed at children and adults. Each other’s stories
The group of voluntary readers Reciproci racconti adheres to the principles of the national program “Born to Read”, aimed at promoting reading among families with preschool children, supported by the Associazione Culturale Pediatri, the Italian Association of Libraries and the CSB Centro per la Salute del Bambino Onlus.
