“110 e Lode” – Exhibition and Lecture Series in Collaboration with L.A.B.A. Rimini

“110 e Lode” was born from an idea by Prof. Massimo Marra, Director of the L.A.B.A. (Free Academy of Fine Arts) in Rimini. Building on this idea, Prof. Franca Fabbri, art history professor at the academy, developed a project focused on graduating and recently graduated students from LABA Rimini, identifying theses that received top marks or were particularly emblematic for artistic research. The various theses, belonging to different LABA programs (Graphic Design, Design, Photography, and Fashion Design), will be on display at Galleria Baldini from February 1 to February 28, 2025. Some of these works will also be presented by the graduates during a lecture series held every Friday in February: February 7 – 14 – 21 – 28 at 6:00 PM.

Franca Fabbri is a professor of Art History at the Free Academy of Fine Arts in Rimini. She has combined her work in the arts with a strong interest in scientific research, particularly cognitive sciences, collaborating with figures such as Umberto Eco, Pino Parini, and Renato Barilli. Today she teaches Modern Art History, Contemporary Art History, Latest Trends in Visual Arts, Style, and Art and Costume History at LABA.
